Other schools such as Nolan Catholic High School and Prestonwood Christian Academy also clinched first places in Tier 2 and Tier 3 respectively, underscoring the high level of competition. Nazarene Christian Academy’s victory in Tier 4 provided a strong start for the competition day.

The event was marked by a series of standout individual performances and Caption Awards, with schools like Trinity Christian Academy and Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School being recognized for their excellence. This year’s competition not only highlighted the talents and hard work of the students but also the evolving sophistication of drumline as a discipline.

TAPPS Director of Fine Arts, Rhonda Smith, commented on the growth and success of the event, stating, “The TAPPS Drumline competition continues to grow in both performing groups and skill levels. From humble beginnings, the event showcases our talented students and directors. The clinicians and judges continue to note the level of performance and music choices across the varied school and line sizes.”

The next TAPPS Drumline event is scheduled for November 19, 2026, where teams will once again gather to showcase their musical artistry.
