If you have not already submitted your 2019 Schedules to your local TASO or TAPPS Approved chapter, please take a few minutes to do so during this time. It is also a good time to update your school information if changes have been made so that the chapters have the latest contact information available for our member schools.
For the coming year, a fee increase was approved for all sports including football. The $5 increase will apply to all activities including football, so please adjust your budgeting as may be required.
In addition, as you purchase supplies for the coming year, the following rules have not changes for TAPPS schools for all levels of high school play for non-district, district and post season play.
- In all high school contests (Varsity and Sub-Varsity), TAPPS member schools shall use a High School approved Wilson leather football. There are no exceptions to this rule.
- In all high school contests, TAPPS member schools shall wear white uniforms as the visiting team, no other colors (gray, light blue, etc) are approved for use.
- In all high school contests, TAPPS member schools jerseys shall comply with the number and lettering rules as set forth in the most current NCAA Football rules.
