The beginning of the school year brings with it great hope for success for our students in the classroom and in areas of competition. Over the last few weeks, our focus on emergency readiness has been renewed. Whether in the gym, on the field, or in the classroom, emergencies arise which require preparation and training to assist students, faculty or visitors.
In support of the TAPPS health and safety initiative, Children’s Health / Andrews Institute provides educational support for health issues. The Project Adam site linked below provides a wealth of information pertaining to sudden cardiac arrest and emergency preparedness for a cardiac event. The videos on the landing page provide a quick review for school personnel and the supporting information from Project Adam can be accessed from this site.
Children’s Health / Andrews Institute stands beside TAPPS to provide educational materials to support our member schools in preparing for and reacting to an emergency.
