Section 60 -District Reassignment by agreement

A school may seek reassignment to a new district by agreement.

  1. After the district assignments have been published, and within the time frame posted for filing appeals, if a school seeks to change its district assignment by agreement, it must:
    1. obtain the unanimous written approval of the schools in the district to which it was assigned (e-mail confirmation will suffice); and,
    2. obtain the unanimous written approval of the schools in the district to which it wants to be assigned (e-mail confirmation will suffice); and,
    3. promptly inform TAPPS of the proposed reassignment.
    4. If TAPPS determines that the school is entitled to be reassigned, TAPPS shall reassign the school as it proposed and notify all the schools and districts affected by the district reassignment.
  2. Final approval of all district assignment(s) rests with the TAPPS Executive Board.
