Call up list will be posted February 2nd.

The meet invite will give you the dates and times for each Division. Warmups and timer assignments will be posted early next week. Please make sure you have timers available if you school is listed. If they do not show up, the meet will be delayed.

Relay cards will be given to coaches before each meet. Any swimmer you plan to swim MUST be listed on the card. You can list as many as 8 possible swimmers. If a swimmer is not listed on the card, he/she may not swim in the relay. The meet invite gives you times that relay cards must be turned in to the meet room.

All USA swim numbers must be submitted prior to the beginning of the championship meets. Numbers will not be added after the beginning of the meet or after the meet.

According to NFHS rules – No two piece suits allowed. (Swimmers should not be walking around the deck in two-piece suits either). “Boys must wear suits which cover the buttocks. Girls shall wear suits which cover the buttocks and breasts.” We ask that coaches make sure suits are compliant prior to the meet.

TAPPS rules do not allow any markings on the swimmers’ bodies. Swimmers will be asked to remove any markings prior to being allowed on the blocks for their events. This includes heat markings.

All scratches are due by noon on January 31, 2018. Please email these to Bill Spurgeon at: and copy   . Your subject should be TAPPS – School name – Division. (TAPPS – Lutheran South – D2). In the email please list the swimmer(s) and events they will be scratched. After this date, the Fair Effort Rule applies – “no swimmer may scratch from an individual event to swim in a relay event”.

A psych sheet and timeline will be posted on February 5th.

No coach or parent-coach may be on deck without taking the SCOPE test. Please check with you Athletic Director to verify if you have taken it or to get information on how to take it prior to the State Meet.

We ask that coaches monitor their swimmers and clean up their assigned areas before leaving the meet.
