PLEASE VOLUNTEER. All Spots need to be filled. With this being our first year at UTA, we really need to show them we run a great meet and have great teachers and parents. Go to TAPPSter.com, Click sign ups, Click Music Meet – Arlington, Sign up for as many spots as possible
Schedule: In TAPPSter Meet…. Some changes have been made to a few entries to accommodate schools that were initially in the wrong competition. Please double check your schedule.

UTA Music Building (Fine Arts building)
Begins at 7:30 am
Bring MEET FEE FORM and Check
We will be in the Music building which is just north of Texas Hall mark on the map. Busses may drop off students along Greek Row Drive to the West of Nedderman. Please do not turn east towards the Music Building. That is a dead end road.
Percussion trailers may unload along Nedderman. There is a south entrance to the music building at the end of the alley road between the music building and Texas Hall.
Parents/Chaperones/Personal Vehicles may park in the Trinity South Parking lot. This is the parking lot just west of TEXAS HALL by the Trinity Dorm.
Busses/Trailers must park in LOT 26 which is on the South Side of the football stadium.
Practice Rooms are available on the 2nd floor of the music building. Please use the stairs. UTA Music Students will be on hand to open practice rooms. Please do not allow students to “camp out” in one of the practice rooms. They need to be warming up or running through music and clear out.
4 Timpani, One Bass Drum, and One Chimes will be provided. Schools are responsible for all other percussion equipment, including keyboards.
Special notes from UTA
- There will be a concession stand with water, soda, candy & chips. Everything is $1.
- The instrument storage room is Burkholder (right next to the check-in room). Also in the Burkholder is a selfie booth for them to take photos after their performance.
- There will be UTA students to give tours and escort them to the UC for lunch.
- All student volunteers will be wearing blue UTA shirts to help at this event.
With regard to lunch plans for the students that will be on campus, the best plan would be to have them dine with us in our All You Care to Eat dining hall as this is the only area that can accommodate such a large group.
When it comes to payment options, we do accept Visa, MasterCard and Cash. The price per person is $7.90/person (tax exempt), provided that each group provides the proper documentation and pays together, otherwise, it is $8.53/person.
You are encouraged to call ahead to let them know a head count.

Students are asked to stay in school appropriate dress code while on campus. High School students MUST have a chaperone with them at all times when outside the music building. Travel in groups.
