                          Patrick Kern

My name is Patrick Kern, and I am a Strength and Conditioning Coach relocating as quickly as possible to the great state of Texas.  For the past year, up until the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I was in my first year as a head high school strength and conditioning coach.  I am also currently working on a teachers certification through iTeach Texas for Physical Education.  I have a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and multiple certifications, including the NSCA-CSCS*D, USA Weightlifting Advanced Sports Performance Coach, NASM – PES, FMS, and TRX.  In total, I’ve had coming on 9 years total of training and competing in Olympic-style weightlifting.

Though I now have experience as a head strength coach position, I am also willing to discuss an assistant position based on what is available.  If you find yourself looking for additional help with your athletic performance department, I am eager for the opportunity.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to me via cell phone or my email, as listed on my attached resume.  Thank you, and I look forward to speaking with you soon!

                          Patrick Evans
My name is Patrick Evans. I coached 26 years of girl’s soccer (and two years of junior college women’s soccer) in the CIF Central Section. I’m currently teaching and coaching in China but I’m anxious to return to coaching in the US. As most high schools here don’t have extracurricular activities with the 15 hour academic day. I’m forwarding my resume to you for both coaching and teaching. I’ve been both a teacher and an administrator here, and with limited coaching opportunities. I also have coached football (24 seasons), baseball (8 years), softball (2 years), track (2 years), and basketball (1) year. I am second all-time in wins in the section, along with 18 league titles, six section titles (in 11 appearances in the finals) as a head coach of 25 years. I spent one season as an assistant at Madera South in a six month brief return to the US in the 2018-19 seasons. It’s not updated  on my resume. The section championships spanned four different divisions and the league titles included two of the three schools at which I coached. 20 of 25 seasons were winning years as a head coach. 25 players went on to play in college. Most on scholarship. 18 of those players were directly recruited from our schools and not via club soccer. A year-round strength program is part of the operation and during my four years at Madera South, as a head coach, our team became state and nationally ranked in powerlifting (bench/squat) in my final year there and our third lift (cleans) wasn’t included in the categories. All teams in my coaching career in the sport had a minimum 3.0 GPA. Some notable graduates who had success in college and professionally: Anessa Patton (Santa Clara), Jackie Ostdiek (San Jose State), Megan Blanchard (Boise State), and Yvette Valdez (UOP). Valdez played in the 1999 World Cup for Mexico and professionally for the Sacramento Storm with US National Team members Brandi Chastain, Kristine Lilly and others. I thank you for your time and consideration in viewing my resume. Sincerely, Patrick Evans, +86 188 1414 7825
