Looking for a coach with championship experience to take your basketball program to the next level?  Over the last six years, I have served as an assistant boys’ basketball coach at Bishop Miege High School in Kansas where we started out with the biggest wins turnaround in our state and followed it up with three straight state championships.  We are the only team in our state that has won three state titles and won 19 or more games each season over the last six seasons.  In that time, I have had the opportunity to coach players named to a total of 26 all-league selections, 11 consensus all-state selections, five players who played for an NCAA Division I men’s basketball program, and two McDonald’s All-Americans.

In addition, I have three years of college coaching experience that includes two conference tournament championships and appearances in the NAIA Divisions I and II National Tournaments as an assistant at William Jewell College in Missouri.  Of the four schools that I have coached at, I was an assistant coach to a head coach who was the school’s all-time wins leaders at three of them.

While my coaching experience has been in the Kansas City area, the opportunity to be a high school boys’ basketball coach has always intrigued me.  Currently, I am working towards completing my Texas teacher certification in social studies, physical education, and business through iTeachTexas.  For more information, please see my attached resume or email me at alan@alanpeel.com for more information.

My name is Patrick Kern and I am a Strength and Conditioning Coach.  For the past couple of years I have worked in an Assistant and as a Head Strength coach at schools in the Bay Area, but my family and I have decided that it is time to leave California and immerse into Texas culture.  In addition to that, I have coached competitive lifters in both Olympic Weightlifting and Powerlifting, and have been training clients in some capacity for coming onto 10 years this fall. I have developed successful training programs for football, basketball, baseball, track and field, wrestling, water polo, swim and dive, badminton, lacrosse, and cheer.
I am looking for a position in a school that emphasizes the importance of Strength and Conditioning for the success of its sports teams, but more importantly, emphasize that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ will mold our athletes into the men and women that future families and communities need.  I am happy to work towards a teachers certificate for the state of Texas as well as contribute in the classroom as possible.  My email is kernstrengthandfitness@gmail.com and my phone number is 408-461-1266.  Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.  God bless!
