Coaching Football/Track – possibility History
My situation is different. I have coached in six states, both public and Christian schools, also with experience as an assistant and head coach. For 20 years I coached basketball but have mostly focused on football and track – very successfully in “turning around” several programs. We settled in Nebraska for family reasons a few years ago, but I have a Lifetime teaching certificate in Texas and would like to finish my career back in Texas. And also would like to be in a Christian school again. Since I am getting some retirement money now I could work for partial salary to help the budget in a school struggling financially.

Greetings, my name is Brandon Davis, and I am an experienced athletic administrator and coach with a diverse background in high school and collegiate athletics. Having worked in some of the most competitive high school athletic programs in the country, including Sacred Heart Academy and Kentucky Country Day, I have successfully overseen program operations, coach development, budgeting, and facility management. In addition to my high school experience, I founded and coached the lacrosse program at Georgetown College, leading the team to multiple national tournament appearances. With a passion for student-athlete development and a deep understanding of athletic administration, I am looking to relocate somewhere between Austin and Dallas, Texas, to be closer to family while continuing to build and strengthen high-quality athletic programs.

I am seeking an opportunity to join a private school athletic staff as a strength and conditioning coach, where I can integrate my passion for athletic development with my Christian values. I have a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports studies, and I am in my final semester of graduate school, earning a master’s degree in kinesiology and sports management.
My coaching background includes:
- Intern Strength Coach at Tarleton State University (2 years) under Coach Rod Cole
- Graduate Assistant Strength Coach at the University of South Dakota (6 months)
- Director of Sports Performance at Redline Athletics in Sioux City, SD
- Sports Performance Coach at Built 4 It in Southlake, TX, working with youth to professional athletes
I am committed to developing student-athletes physically, mentally, and spiritually, helping them grow both in their sport and in their faith. My coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, resilience, and integrity, aligning with Christian principles to instill values that extend beyond the weight room and field of play.
I am eager to bring my expertise and faith-driven approach to a private school setting, where I can contribute to a Christ-centered athletic program that empowers student-athletes to honor God through their effort, teamwork, and commitment to excellence. I look forward to connecting with schools that share this mission.

I am open to teaching at a secular private school; however, I have taught at Christian Private schools for the last 5 years. I have a strong faith in Jesus Christ which influences my world view, and how I teach Social Studies.
