Athletic Directors and Coaches:
As you plan for the coming year, please take a moment to make sure that your high school uniforms are compliant with the NFHS rules.
The rules are very precise and clear in the rule book for each sport.
As these rules have been in place for several years, please make sure your teams will be in compliance for the following:
- Color of the uniform meets specifications
- If required, white means white. There are no exceptions for gray, light blue, gold or any other color regardless of what uniform sales representatives may suggest.
- Numbers should be of the size and placement as required by the rules. Please make sure numbers are legible on both home and away jerseys.
Football rules are differ as they are subject to the requirements are presented i the NCAA Football Rule book.
