Tournament Host:
Liberty Christian School (Argyle)
Entries:
No change from published information in the TAPPS By-Laws. School may substitute in a weight class prior to student weigh in should injury or other situation require the original entry to not participate. No substitutions allowed after weigh in or for missed weight.
Wrestling Season Notes
Start Date:
Wrestling is a lifetime sport in TAPPS and as such there is no beginning date for competition. Student athletes may represent their school in interscholastic competition (School Based) as soon as the school determines to do so.
Competition:
TAPPS presently allows students to compete in Duals, Tri Meets, Quad Meets and tournaments as deemed appropriate by local school authorities. TAPPS does not have a cap on the number of meets a student may enter during a season.
COVID Protocols:
TAPPS supports the protocols as presented by USA Wrestling and the NFHS. Local school protocols may be more restrictive for their own wrestlers and coaches as determined by their local school administration.
