Athletic Directors and Football Coaches:
The Texas Association of Private and Parochial School is excited to announce that Scott Blanton, from Kicking Exposure, will be running the TAPPS 2022 kicker clinic and competition on Friday, June 24 at the Heart of Texas Soccer Fields in Waco. Scott will be joined by former TCU and NFL kicker, Jonathan Song.
Scott starred at the University of Oklahoma as both a kicker and punter. He moved on to an NFL career, primarily with the Washington Redskins. Scott brings 25 years of experience training kickers and punters from middle school up to the professional level.
The kicker clinic will begin on June 24 with check-in at 8:00am. The clinic runs from 8:30am to 12:00pm. The competition will be held from 12:00pm-1:00pm. Information can be found at tapps.biz on the 7 on 7 webpage. An individual student can be registered whether the school is participating in the 7 on 7 tournament or not. Cost is $10 per student, cash or check only.
