Athletic Directors and Coaches:
Thank you all for three great days of track and field in both ARLINGTON and WACO. It was so good to see our student athletes compete and our coaches coach.
As we prepare for the Championships next week, please review the information posted on the TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP page on the TAPPS website. We will continue to update information throughout the weekend and championship week so please check back often.

FIELD EVENT WORKERS:
Thank you to all of our volunteers who assisted with the regional meets. As we move to the championships, we need your assistance again. If you have athletes in the field events, please sign up to rake a pit, shag shot/discus or set the bar for the vertical events. In order for the meet to run efficiently and effectively we must have your help. Thank you in advance for signing up to assist. The form is located on the TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP page on the TAPPS website.
RELAY TEAM MEMBERS:
Please review the relay teams as listed on the TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP page in the preliminary heat sheets. If you have changes you are already planning, please complete the forms as soon as time allows. The form will be open until close of business on Monday, May 2. You may also make changes at the meet, but with the total number of relays, advance changes are appreciated. The TRACK RELAY CHANGE FORM is located on the TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP page on the TAPPS website.
WITHDRAWAL FROM AN INDIVIDUAL EVENT:
The Fair Effort Rule will go into effect at NOON, Saturday APRIL 30. If you are planning to withdraw students who qualified in individual events from the state meet, please complete the WITHDRAWAL FORM by the deadline.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFIERS FROM REGIONAL MEETS:
In some events a region may not have qualified four to the state meet. We will not advance additional qualifiers from the other regional meet to fill the field.
