We are happy to announce that we ARE having our Robotics competition this year despite a little bit of worry about the eclipse. It will again take place at the BASE at Extraco Events Center in Waco. With April 6 fast approaching there are a few things to be taken care of:
1 – Please click the link below to get your team(s) registered if you are planning to attend this year’s competition.
2 – We will again be conducting team interviews. In preparation for this competition, please be sure you have your PRINTED portfolio to give the judges at your presentation time. Your portfolio should be a maximum of 15 pages following FIRST criteria (pg. 51).
3 – Due to the eclipse on the 8th, many hotels in the Waco area have increased their pricing greatly! However, we have had hotels agree to let TAPPS schools stay at a lower price. With that being said, the following hotels are ones you can reach out to if you are needing to make hotel reservations.
