Who can compete for my school?
- Students presently attending your school in Grades 9 through 12

How many entries can I have in the championship categories?

Will food be available at the event (concession stand)?.
- Yes, A concession stand will be open during the contests

Will there be a photographer at the event and pictures available afterwards?
- There will be photographer on site
- Pictures will be made available through our partner – Vidigami

Will there be memorabilia commemorating the event available?
- Yes, TEAM IP will be on site with ART Championship gear and TAPPS 2.0 gear

Is there a plan in the event of bad weather during the competition?
- Yes, TAPPS monitors the weather conditions at all events with the help of our partners, Earth Networks.
- The TAPPS staff will have reviewed the Emergency Action Plan for the facilities and directors will be notified in advance of procedures

Can my student trace a photo and enter it into the drawing category?
- No. ALL WORK MUST BE ENTIRELY CONCEPTUALIZED, DEVELOPED, AND CREATED BY THE STUDENT. This includes no tracing of their own work or someone else’s work. Grid work or graphing out from a student taken photo is ok. Ex. Student wants to draw a lion. They go to the zoo, take a photo of the lion, print the photo any size. They may draw grid lines on the photo and work from the grid. They may not trace over the photo they took. No public domain images or even purchased images may be used. Only images captured by the student themselves.

Can my student draw from a picture from a magazine, a purchased image, or public domain image?
- ALL WORK MUST BE ENTIRELY CONCEPTUALIZED, DEVELOPED, AND CREATED BY THE STUDENT. This includes the original source of material. They may take a photo them self and draw from the photo. They may not use images they did not create themselves including but not limited to teacher taken photos, public domain images, and images purchased. For Self-portraits, the student may ask for someone to take a photo of them but the photo environment must be driven by the student.
