Baseball/Softball Rosters, Schedules and Scores
Athletic Directors and Coaches:
The TAPPS Office sent instructions and reminders on January 15, 17, 22 and February 13 reminding all schools to make sure their Baseball/Softball Rosters, Schedules and Scores are entered in Rank One.
Thank you to those who have completed those tasks and are keeping up with scores.
For those who have not, please do so immediately. Knowing how hectic the beginning of the semester can be, we are extending grace for completing this task until next week. This will be the one and only “friendly reminder” for this season.
The TAPPS Office will be running Baseball and Softball reports every Tuesday morning starting next week and the following sanctions will be implemented.
Schools which lack rosters or fail to input scores in a timely manner (48 Hours) shall be subject to the following sanctions:
- After 2 games in TEAM SPORTS:
- First Offense – Warning
- Second Offense – Reprimand to Head Coach / 1 Game Suspension
- Additional Offenses – Penalties shall escalate
As a reminder, scores must be reported in Rank One for all games, including tournaments within 48 hours of the contest. Your schedule and scores must remain ‘public’ in Rank One all season.
If you have a game that is canceled or postponed, please update your schedule in Rank One so that it is not mistaken for a game lacking a score.
Thank you in advance for staying on top of your Rosters, Schedules and Scores in Rank One for all of your team sports as we advance through the year. If questions arise, please contact the TAPPS office at [email protected] or by phone at 254-947-9268.
