Athletic Directors and Coaches:
Good afternoon. As we continue to monitor the changing weather across Texas and the pandemic metrics, we believe it best to take a pause in the action. The safety of our student athletes, coaches and fans remains paramount as we navigate the next few weeks.
In order to assist our districts in playing out the district schedules, the DISTRICT CERTIFICATION DEADLINE will move to Saturday, February 20. This will allow districts to pause play if needed and to play some of those contests which have already been postponed.
In making this adjustment, there will be additional changes to the playing dates which will be announced early next week.
