Dr. Redman received his medical degree from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio and completed a chief residency in orthopedic surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He continued his training with a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
Objectives:

  1. Review the anatomy of the growing spine
  2. Define spinal deformity and why it is important
  3. Discuss the evaluation of a patient/athlete for spinal deformity and current recommendations
  4. Discuss treatment options and the expected outcomes
