We are looking forward to hosting the TAPPS Cheer Championships 2020-2021 at the Bell County Expo Center on Monday, December 7 and Tuesday, December 8, 2020.
You may enter ONE Varsity Team to compete for the Championship Title.
- Division 1: 5A, 6A – Traditional Large Squad 17 or more members
- Division 2: 5A, 6A – Traditional Small Squad 16 or less members
- Division 3: 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A – Traditional Large Squad 13 or more members
- Division 4: 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A – Traditional Small Squad 12 or less members
- Division 5: 5A, 6A – Spirit Squad
- Division 6: 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A – Spirit Squad
TAPPS reserves the right to split, combine, and delete subdivisions as warrants and/or deemed appropriate.
The Varsity Team will compete for a Rating as well as a Rank to determine the Champions.

You may enter multiple squads/small ensembles for Non-Varsity Participation for rating without ranks.
These Non-Varsity Squads do not have to designate Spirit or Traditional and squad size does not determine % of skills. This is a growth opportunity for your students to do what best fits their skills. They will be judged at the end of day one.
- Time limit 1:30 max.
- Stunts, tumbling, tosses, pyramids allowed but not required
- No requirement for 50%+ or majority.
- No ranks given
- Adjudication for superior or excellent performance

- Cost $20 per student on each squad.

- Coach Compliance completed through Rank One. Due Nov 13
- Coach and Assistant Coach profiles created
- TAPPS Acknowledgement of Rules complete.
- TAPPS SCOPE training complete.
- Student Eligibility completed through Rank One. Due Nov 23
- Parents should complete the TAPPS Student Profile.
- Parents should complete the TAPPS Signature page.
- Physicals are REQUIRED.
- All students must be shown as Eligible/Green to be able to add them to the entry.
- Roster and Entry Created in Rank One Due Nov 23
- R1 admin: Name the Program
- Admin Panel > My Activities Information > View High School > Cheerleading (C)
- Add New Program > Enter Program Name. You may need to enter more than one program.
- Enter ONLY 1 VARSITY: Varsity Spirit Squad OR Varsity Traditional Squad
- Enter All others as NON-Varsity squads: Non-Varsity Squad 1, Non-Varsity Squad 2 etc. You may have more than one exhibition squad to perform for rating and award.
- Cheer Coach Create Roster and Entry Form- VARSITY TEAM for Championship Ranks
- Participant MGMT >Manage Roster
- Select School, Activity: Cheerleading (C), Varsity Spirit or Varsity Traditional
- Build Roster > Select all Cheer Students
- View Roster
- Create Entry Form
- Select only those “on the squad” do not list the alternates.
- Save, PRINT. This will serve as your invoice page with an entry fee of $20 per student.
- Cheer Coach Create Roster and Entry Form- NON-VARSITY TEAM for Rating and awards.
- Participant MGMT >Manage Roster
- Select School, Activity: Cheerleading (C), NON-Varsity Squad 1
- Build Roster > Select all Cheer Students
- View Roster
- Create Entry Form
- Select only those “on the squad” do not list the alternates.
- Save, PRINT. This will serve as your invoice page with an entry fee of $20 per student.
- Repeat for additional non-varsity squads.
