Administrators, Directors and Coaches:
As we move forward into the new year, the pandemic remains a concern for our schools and the families they serve. As we continue to monitor the situations across the country, the return to play protocol for students after a positive test or presentation of symptoms continues to evolve. With health care systems stretched providing necessary care for those individuals in need, examination for return to play may not be a priority for health care providers.
The TAPPS COVID protocols have been developed to allow member schools the discretion to implement protocols and procedures which best suit their individual community needs. We continue that stance today. We provide the following links to information as a resource as each of our member schools evaluate their protocols as they apply to students not only returning to the academic environment, but also returning to participation in extracurricular activities.

American College of Cardiology (ACC)
