Fine Arts Directors, Band Directors, Orchestra Directors
TAPPS is pleased to announce that this year during Solo & Small Ensemble competitions junior high students will be allowed to perform. They will be adjudicated and awarded medals for Superior Ratings, if earned. They are not required to have an accompaniment; however, it is recommended. Also, their music can be the director’s choice and does not need to come from the UIL PML. Duets will be allowed in the Jr. high divisions. No Points will be earned by the junior high students toward the overall band championships, only awards. Numbered original scores will still be required for the judge.
