Administrators and Coaches:

The TAPPS Executive Board met last week to review the TAPPS protocols as we continue toward the playoffs.  The capacity limit of 50% for both indoor and outdoor activities shall remain in place for all contests hosted by TAPPS schools. This rule remains in place regardless of local community standards.

As we all look to continue our seasons and play, please help us by following the TAPPS protocols for events including the following protocols already in place:

  • Volleyball
    • Table crew is restricted to libero tracker, official book, and scoreboard operator.
    • The table crew MUST wear masks at all times during the contest.
    • The playing area is for coaches and players only.
      • FANS are not allowed on the playing area prior to, during or after the match.
    • Teams shall be socially distanced after the contest forgoing the traditional handshakes and other gatherings.
  • Football
    • The playing area is for coaches and players only.
      • FANS are not allowed on the playing area prior to, during or after the game
      • While not what we are used to, for this year it must become the norm if not already
    • Teams shall be socially distanced after the contest forgoing the traditional handshakes and other gatherings.
  • Fall Soccer
    • The playing area is for coaches and players only.
      • FANS are not allowed on the playing area prior to, during or after the game
      • While not what we are used to, for this year it must become the norm if not already
    • Teams shall be socially distanced after the contest forgoing the traditional handshakes and other gatherings.

All other TAPPS protocols remain in effect.
