Athletic Directors:

Week 5 of football brings many of our schools closer to or into district play.  The volleyball and fall soccer seasons are already playing district games in most of their districts.  With the district seasons at hand, the intensity inevitably rises as the chase for the post season begins.

Please take a few moments to review the Announcers Guidelines linked below with all of your public address announcers. Additionally, a link has been provided to the NFHSLearn course: PA Announcing.  It never hurts for a little midseason review to set the tone and expectations for the rest of the season. Interscholastic activities provide our student athletes the opportunity to compete in a positive environment. The public address announcer, though provided by the home team, should remain as neutral as possible throughout the contests.
