Band Program Directors and Orchestra Program Directors,
Good afternoon!
We are looking forward to seeing you all at the Mayborn Convention Center and Cultural Activities Center in Temple next week.
The following is a list of the percussion that will be available at the competition:
- 4 Tympani (Adams 23″, 26″, 29″, 32″ /with tuning gauges)
- Concert Bass Drum (36″ Suspended)
- Xylophone (Musser 2.5 Octave)
- Orchestra Bells (Musser 2 Octave)
- Marimba (Vancore 4.5 Octave)
- Vibes (Adams w/motor. Extension cord NOT provided)
- Chimes (Musser Symphonic 2.5 Octave) [Pedal down to sustain/Up to dampen]
- Gong (Paiste 28″ with stand)
No mallets, sticks, or beaters will be provided. All schools must bring their own (including for gong and chimes).
