As the TAPPS Soccer season enters its final month of play, please take a minute to remind your staff and players of the following rule.
Removal of a players jersey after scoring a goal is considered taunting. This action is considered taunting and as such subject to a card. In accordance with TAPPS governance as presented by the Athletic Executive Committee and affirmed by the Executive Board, this action is elevated to a RED card.
While not a common occurrence, the penalty of missing the next game for this action should be communicated with your players and your assigning officials chapters.
