Transfer Student Eligibility
Athletic Directors,
As our office continues to review and process paperwork for students transferring to TAPPS schools, we want to take this opportunity to remind our membership of the importance of ensuring that only eligible students are competing in your interschool contests.
Student athletes who have not completed the transfer process by completing necessary paperwork and receiving approval by the TAPPS Office are not eligible to participate in any scrimmages or games whether varsity or sub-varsity.
We encourage all head coaches and athletic directors to review the eligibility rosters for all their winter sports in Rank One. As a reminder, eligible students are green, while any that are red are lacking paperwork and/or final approval by the TAPPS Office.
As stated in the TAPPS Constitution, the penalty for playing an ineligible player in a contest mandates forfeiture of the contest.
