As our office continues to review and process paperwork for students transferring to TAPPS schools, we want to take this opportunity to remind our membership of the importance of ensuring that only eligible students are competing in your interschool contests.
Student athletes who have not completed the transfer process by completing necessary paperwork and receiving approval by the TAPPS Office are not eligible to participate in any scrimmages or games whether varsity or sub-varsity.
As stated in the TAPPS Constitution, the penalty for playing an ineligible player in a contest mandates forfeiture of the contest as well as probation for the program and a reprimand for the AD and Coach.
