Winter Coaches Eligibility
Athletic Directors:
This is a quick reminder to all Athletic Directors to update your school’s winter coaching personnel in Rank One. The entire coaching staff must be listed in each sport.
All Coaches (head coach and assistants) will need to fill out the TAPPS Acknowledgement of Rules and complete the TEaMs Courses before they can begin their coaching assignments. This includes tryouts, practices, scrimmages and games.
Each coach should update their profile, fill out the TAPPS Acknowledgement of Rules and upload their TEaMs Courses certificate of completion in the Rank One database. For those coaches who are no longer associated with your school or school programs, please deactivate their profile in Rank One.
The eligibility status of all coaches may be viewed by the school Athletic Director in Rank One by clicking on ‘Coaches Compliance’ under Quick Links. Coaches that are in green have completed their requirements and are eligible while coaches in red are lacking either the Acknowledgement of Rules or completion of the TEaMs Courses and are ineligible to begin their coaching duties.
Instructions to Complete Compliance:
To complete the TAPPS Acknowledgement of Rules, sign in to your Rank One account and click the TAPPS Acknowledgement of Rules link in the lower left hand corner box labeled ‘Your Compliance’. Check that you have read and understand the rules and then sign electronically.

At the conclusion of the last module, a certificate may be printed and/or downloaded which should then be uploaded to Rank One in your profile. This, in addition to signing the Acknowledgement of Rules, will complete your eligibility process.
